Happy NEW Year! 2022 + Reflect/Recap of previous years especially 2021

 OMG can you believe it's been three years since I have last made my New Years resolution?!

I am quite shock how the times fly by real quickly especially with that New Years resolution to which I believe it was in 2019 since I last did one haha

So, the juicy part- Was there any progress you may ask? Well as much as it is quite hard to believe, there are some it seems! Out of 80 I think I mostly achieved 20, which is still progress on the bright side but knowing me my pessimistic self will say that is like 1/4....of the whole friggin 3 years!! Hahahaha Not complaining but just having a bit of laugh is all. 

I really ought to change my pessimistic way of thinking hehe

Anyways, What were the progress I have made so far? Sadly I haven't been keeping track of these goals which ironically was part of my new years resolution. That said, I think I have accomplished some as mentioned above. Here are the details below:

7) Keep all your great relationships

10) Catch yourself when your moods starts to go downhill and try to turn things around. Placebo thoughts

(This too, shall Pass!!)

11) Learn to recognise when you're having anxious thoughts

20) Spend time with Friends 

22) Be more thankful everyday

23) Seek Help

25) THIS YEAR, I SWEAR! I'M GOING TO LEARN TO COOK.

26) Give in to Cravings

33) Get a Job (Part-time/ Full-time)

37) Handle things as they come without worrying too much

38) Become better Adult

47) Speak in mostly Mandarin and Cantonese with my parents

50) Be more aware about tense muscles in my face.

51) Prioritise ergonomics so we can be less sore pls.

52) Be more aware about tense shoulders. 

55) I like the me recently that's been more impulsive/ definitive for good reasons. (i.e. "This really good ice cream place closes in 30 mins...If we all get in our cars right now, we can make it. LET'S DO IT... EVERYONE GO GO GO GO") More of that! :D

72) Stretch more often

77) Give my friends a lot of messages? Because who doesn't need a message?!

80) Keep supporting my k-pop and j-pop faves!! and to watch anime and/ or K-dramas- SUPPROT! Procrastination- Change that. 

Birthday Surprise for a Good friend- 06/11/21 - Feeling not just proud but also warm ^^

 So it was my good friend, Cindy's birthday yesterday and I thought I would do a little surprise! In which I decided to send her some cupcakes not only saying good wishes on her special day but also because of an upcoming pre-reg exam she has to do (again), that I hope it would give some extra support and comfort. 

I know in these trying times it can be hard to push through things and get yourself together so with these in place it's just a nice feeling getting a surprise or even making one hehe 

Anyways, I couldn't have done it without the help of this local patisserie in Nottingham (Cherryontop) whom I found online. Not gonna lie, it wasn't that simple to just simply find someone who could deliver some cake to your doorstep (as I need it to be delivered for I am not based in Nottingham) plus in terms of the type of 'cakes' I have in mind, it has to be easy to take in so realistic, as well as not too extravagant (Don't want to end up leaving Cindy in a muddle for I know she's not the kind of girl who is that fancy, as also has to prepare for the exam!). I mean if it was me I'm not sure if I would want to be in a right mind in wanting to a big round cake at my doorstep (even though it is nice don't get me wrong!) but then to later on eat it all in one go lol.  I initially went for this website: https://thecakesolution.co.uk/view-all-products/ which I was thinking of getting either getting a strawberry glazed baked cheesecake or one of the party cakes (the 7 "Cookies & Cream) (Looking back again, the Mudcakes - Premium boston- looks nice) but felt that "yeah that is too big" 😅

After going through a couple of websites online for cakes to be delivered, the one that caught my eye is https://www.cherryontopcupcakes.co.uk/ . Her reviews and also Instagram instantly made me choose her shop as I decided on having cupcakes and hers was the perfect choice. It was very simple as luckily she had her email on insta so it was easy to reach out to her and be able to make fast conversation. The minimum order is 6 cupcakes, with up to 2 flavours. However seeing on her insta, it seems to be possible to get 3 flavours so I asked! and fortunately she was able to fulfill that wish 😌.

All in all I cannot thank enough. As I hope not only did it put a smile on Cindy's face but also made me put a smile.

Ok, Well you can probably tell from the name of the title of this post already so I'll just get straight to it 😅😊
Basically I went to the BTS concert 🙈 Yep....I still can't believe it even til this date either!

I think my heart could leap out of my mouth at any moment as I type this up. Kyaaa

I don't even know where to begin to be honest. Part of me want to summarise first whilst another part of me really want to start from the beginning to tell the whole story but then I feel it might too long-winded that it might miss some and most of all, miss the one & only important point that I want to get across in this particular post (and probably too long would be draggy too? Haha Considering when it's comes down to me explaining, but honestly I can assure this post is really something special- Probably too good to miss!!)

Ok riighttt, so I've decided. I'll do both. I will start off by summarising it off quickly with the point that I want to say.
To grasp the situation it's all down to this gorgeous young man 😍😚.  Honestly Without him, I think I would have been killed or probably even worse die of the ever more stress. A total Life saver he is. Literally save my life in every way possible that in that moment of time I could almost call him my fairy godfather? No that sound wrong! I think since we're both of similar age, it would perhaps be more appropriate/ fitting to call him Prince Charming haha 🙈💓
He literally is a dream.

That being said, here's like a letter of appreciation which I highly doubt he would ever read lol. But I just want to put my thoughts here as, in all honesty and seriousness, I can't thank him enough.

Dear YOU (TicketMaster West wing Ticket collection Blue-ish green eyes Boy- Sorry couldn't find a better description/name!), 

Thank you for the ever wonderful memories you have made for me. You definitely have made my day and I honestly regretted that I haven't got your name down- I wish I did! Unfortunately I can only just about now remember a gist of your face, a hair cut with curls and some spike? Though strangely enough and somehow its your seemly piercing green-ish blue eyes that strongly calls me and so with that, I could only just about describe you with that much ahaha 😅.
Anyway enough with this, I would just like to let you know that not only have you seriously restore my faith on that day but you have also put in source/ boost of a motivation in me. Really glad to have encounter you and for your help. I wish you all the happiness and goodness in the world! 😊😊😊

Eventful week and Going to Brimingham, Aston for a day trip!

Hello hello~

Typing this up as I'm on the train to Birmingham New Street Station (Saturday 16/02/19)
It's been a good week this week! Hehehe 😄

Despite with all the ups and downs as usual, this one was special! From Monday, the lecture of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Analysis was cancelled from 1-3, so had to stay in for the whole 4 hours from 11-3 (had a 9am start as usual). Then on Tuesday...Oh Tuesday, that Tuesday! I was rushing for a train Goddamn me for snoozing the alarm! and so consequently waking up late with only 10 minutes to prepare for....Oh man, I hope to never do this again seriously!!! ;u; This eventually led me to take a nap in the afternoon and taking a sip of a coffee in the end 😓 then Wednesday....👀😁  hohoho, to Thursday finding out how to "jailbreak" an apple app lol (I changed the country/region from the apple store so that I can download one of my favourite filter app) LOL....and finally a test to wrapped up on Friday (Yesterday). Now it's Saturday!! Can you believe it, time has flown by really quickly in a blink hehe 😉😊.

Which now brings me to say I got some goods news to share hahah!
I have finally got (more like obtained) the ticket (on Wednesday) to see BlackPink!! 😚
Kyaaaa, My effort has finally paid off 😘😏 (Geddit geddit!) . I just announce publicly on whether or not people had tickets for sale and also if there was any accompaniment. And so with that happening, Woop woop! I got a response back from some of my friends 😊 Both of whom are selling for a friend of a friend 😀, eventually I got the ticket from the one who was selling it slightly cheaper  (obviously!) but most of all who are attending the concert as well... Oh Yayyyy, I can't wait! 💓

Edit: From here on, now typing this up at home on Sunday 17/02/19 instead (with all the fun that has happened was soooo tired yesterday Hahahaha!)

So back to the trip to Birmingham, let's get right into it!

Installation of the Windows 10 on a Mac, YAY!

Right, Don't mean to brag but.... I, Adeline Hau, have FINALLY  muster the courage of managing to install the Windows 10 onto her very own MacBook by herself which took like what... forever!?! hehehe 😀

Ok ok before any question could be raised, why do I want to install the Windows 10 and what do I want to do with it since I got the a Mac as an operating system, isn't that being difficult?
Righttt,

1) I saw this from my cousin Christopher of being able to own a dual system in his MacBook. I found this really cool and so this inspired me to do the same lol (This was probably back in 2013?)

2) To elaborate more form the 1st point, my cousin also managed to get games installed on Windows which was that 2nd operating system (OS).

And why is this post so highly emphasised when in actual fact it may comes across as a simple / not so much of big of a deal, well here's how the story actually goes... Shall we delve into it?!
